DIY wall decoration on a loom

Step 1

Make a makeshift loom from a piece of cardboard 5x7 cm in size: make short cuts on the short sides at a distance of 1 cm from each other.

Through the cut holes, wind the threads tightly onto the cardboard as shown in the photo. Fasten the ends of the threads on the back with adhesive tape.

Step 2

Thread peach-colored mouline thread into a needle and weave it into an improvised loom - 10 rows.
Then light gray threads - 3 rows.

Dark gray threads - 5 rows, while the third row is done with beads strung on the thread.

White threads - 9 rows, with the fifth row complete with beads strung on a thread.

Dark gray threads - 1 row.

Peach threads - 5 rows.

White threads - 12 rows, with the second and fourth rows performed with beads strung on a thread.

Tie a thread at the end of each strip.

You can execute the sequence of colors, the number of rows and strands with beads at your discretion.

Step 3

Turn the cardboard over and carefully cut the threads exactly in the middle.

Pair the threads in pairs with each other.

Step 4

From dark gray floss threads, make brushes and fix them at the bottom of the jewelry.

Step 5

At the top of the jewelry, cut the ponytails of the thread.

Step 6

Use a jewelry wire to attach a chain to the jewelry. Attach a clasp to the ends of the chain.

Your ethnic-style jewelry is ready!
