Taking notes in your notebook will be even more pleasant if you wrap it in a soft felt cover decorated with a funny applique.
You will need:
• felt 2 mm thick of white, red, gray, light brown, light green and green grass
• felt 1 mm thick green grass
• 3 half beads with a diameter of 4 mm
• 2 red buttons with a diameter of 15−20 mm
• cream rep tape 25 cm wide 10 mm
• acrylic matte paint in white, light green and olive colors
• black thread for sewing
• buttons or velcro fastener
• white 3D marker
Besides:
• scissors for fabric; • pencil; • tape measure; • transparent glue; • foam rubber round brush; • sewing machine; • a hand needle and matching thread for sewing; • notebook format A7.
DIY bookmark made of decorative felt
Step 1
Depending on the size of the notebook, cut out the cover details from gray and green felt. In addition, cut two more strips of felt for cover valves. Place both strips along the short sections of each cover and pin them with tailor pins. Lay a line along the perimeter of covers at a distance of 5 mm from the edge.

Motifs for applications to draw and cut them from felt of the corresponding colors. Connect as in the photo.With white acrylic paint, paint the sides of the face and the tip of the tail of the fox and allow to dry. Glue small half beads as eyes and nose. On mushrooms with a 3D marker, put white dots. Using a foam brush, shade the edges of the green cover with light green acrylic and then olive paint. After the paint dries, apply the motifs of the applications to the covers and stick them. Glue a white rep ribbon to the gray cover for decoration. Sew a red button to each strap. From the wrong side, sew a button or a piece of velcro fastener to the strap.
