From live or artificial branches, from balls, from cones - all wreaths are made simply, and the result is very festive and elegant!

As a rule, a Christmas wreath needs a special base. The basics are different: from polystyrene foam, foam plastic, cardboard, wire, twigs, straw. Their main common feature is the shape: the base should be round with a large hole in the center. Craftsmen make the basics for wreaths with their own hands, for example, making them from wire, cardboard, newspapers and even pipes made of foam plastic. In our master classes, we will talk about ready-made basics - as a rule, now they are in stores for needlework and creativity. But in two cases, improvised items are used as the basis.

1. Christmas wreath of live spruce branches: a master class

This, so to speak, is the basic model that will suit any decoration of the house and can be decorated to your liking.

You will need:

- wire base for a wreath;

- A sufficient number of live spruce, pine or fir branches (by the way, you can use branches from unnecessary artificial Christmas trees);

- secateurs;

- thin-nose pliers;

- a fairly thin soft flexible wire.

Step 1

Cut several branches with a pruner to make a bunch. Attach the bundle to the base so that the branches look up a bit (seephoto) and secure by tightly wrapping it several times with wire.

Step 2

Repeat the first step, attaching each bunch of branches so as to close the place of attachment of the previous one. Continue until you complete the entire framework. Done! You can decorate the wreath with lights - or toys, tinsel, as you wish.

2. Christmas wreath of balls: master class

Another "base model". How the wreath will look will depend on the selection of toys. It is better to take a few sets of small balls.

You will need:

- the basis for the wreath (suitable wire, foam, made of foam plastic);

- a lot of small balls;

- a gun with hot glue.

Step 1

Remove the loops from the balls.

Step 2

Glue the balls to the base one next to the other, trying to make sure that there are no noticeable mounting points and holes in the balls. Continue until you complete the entire framework.

Step 3

You can add a few more balls on top by gluing them to the previous ones. Done!

3. Christmas wreath of cones and twigs: a master class

Another version of the wreath in the classical style: the wreath is suitable for the New Year and Christmas.

You will need:

- wire base for a wreath;

- a sufficient number of cones;

- a gun with hot glue;

- several live or artificial coniferous twigs and twigs with berries for decoration.

Step 1

First you need to glue the bumps along the inner circumference of the base.Glue them so that the tops of the cones are slightly inclined to the center.

Step 2

The next row is the outer one. Glue the cones so that their tops, on the contrary, look a little from the center.

Step 3

Now fill the middle row. Here you can add a little artistic mess in terms of the direction of the tops of the cones.

Step 4

Twigs of needles and berries can be added by simply sticking them in a wreath, or, for fidelity, by gluing.

4. Christmas wreath based on a hanger: a master class

A thin wire hanger is required (the wire from which they are made is usually quite flexible).

You will need:

- hanger;

- A sufficient number of Christmas tree decorations, making up a harmonious set;

- a twig of needles, a twig with berries, a twig with cones for decoration (by the way, twigs can be replaced with a large bow).

Work sequence:

Fold the hanger so that you get a circle. Unroll the wire, opening a circle. Put toys on the wire until almost the entire circle is full. Fasten the ends of the wire back. It will be possible to hang a wreath from a hanger, and it is better to close the attachment point and hook by masking with branches of needles or a bow.
