In the spring I really want variety, especially with regard to new items in the wardrobe. A great alternative to a light coat is a woolen poncho with a high collar, which is easy to sew, and without a pattern!

You will need:

► knitted fabric;

► thread for sewing;

► ruler for patchwork;

► Portnovsky crayon;

►usual ruler;

► scissors for cutting;

► thimble;

►portnovsky pins;

► hand needle for sewing;

► centimeter tape

Step 1. Cutting the knitted fabric

Collar - approx. 102 x 54 cm 1x

Poncho Detail - approx. 154 x 114 cm 1x

(allowances are already taken into account in the given sizes).

Step 2

Fold the collar detail across in half with the front side inwards. Start short sections at a distance of 1 cm and overcast on overlock.

Step 3

The poncho part is folded in half, first across and then along. Draw a front neckline 6 cm deep and 12 cm wide.

Step 4

Lay out the poncho in length and draw a neckline on the back with a width of 12 cm and a depth of 2 cm. Cut the neck.

Step 5

Turn the collar to the front side and fold in half along the wrong side inwards. Chop open sections with pins.

Step 6

Insert the collar evenly and thread the poncho into the part with the front side to the front side. Overcast seam allowances on overlock.
