Georgia cuts its work, like intricate lace, with a breadboard knife from paper.

About the page author

Georgia Lowe was born in 1994 in London, then moved to North Wells, where she still lives and works. From childhood, she showed artistic talent, but at the university she studied work on radio and TV. At the same time, art, by its own admission, remained its true passion. When Georgia became interested in paper cutting and began to make progress, her friends began asking her to do work for them. So orders gradually appeared, and our heroine devoted herself entirely to her beloved work, which can be called something between a needlework and art.

“I have always loved everything related to nature, hence the theme of most of my work,” Georgia says. “Moreover, my life in London made me indifferent to architecture, and this is also reflected in them.”

What is this page about

Georgia makes panel paintings, small decorative works, postcards, invitations, decoration for photos, for family trees and so on. Her works are surprisingly thin, filled with many jewelry-made details, which are very interesting to look at. In addition to photos of finished works, Georgia’s page has pictures and videos illustrating the process: watching them is no less exciting.

Who will be interested in this page

Even if you have never worked in a similar technique (which, incidentally, is now quite popular), we recommend you this page as a source of ideas. For example, to design the same cards, panels, invitations with your own hands. Probably, without such experience as Georgia, it would be difficult to do such intricate work right away - but you can try to make something simpler, but no less elegant and interesting.
