Around black there are many myths: it goes to everyone, practical and not easily soiled. Is it really so and how to harmoniously add black color to the wardrobe tells our stylist Maria Prokudina.
Since the days of Coco Chanel, the black color that formed the basis of the new Theme of the Month is considered elegant, expensive and adorning any woman. Perhaps that is why in the wardrobes of many girls there is such an abundance of black.

black is not even a color, but an achromat, which is essentially neutral. Absolutely all colors and shades are combined with it. And precisely because of its neutrality and monosyllabic nature, many wear this color regularly, not noticing how it, along with other achromats - gray and white - occupies the entire wardrobe. But black has one feature: located close to the face, it sets off all skin imperfections and emphasizes its relief. Young nymphs are not afraid, but older women should pay attention to the proximity of black to the portrait area. So if you do not get enough sleep or are tired, choose light shades from the face.
"But what about the little black dress?" - perhaps you ask. Firstly, nobody canceled the refreshing makeup. And secondly, you can always use small tricks. For example, choose a dress with a deep neckline that opens the neck and collarbones, so that the black is as far away from the face. And then you will look younger and fresher.
The practicality of black, I would also call into question. Of course, dark colors are not as easily soiled as light shades. But specifically on black everything is visible: dirt, dust, wool, hairs. Burgundy, emerald, blueberry, chocolate are many times more interesting than black, as they are flowers, and they don’t get so dirty, and it doesn’t stick to them so noticeably. What turns out, you can’t wear black? Sure! Especially if you do this not out of inability to combine colors or out of hopelessness, but consciously. I’ll talk about the nuances of interacting with black in the wardrobe using the models from the Color of Night mini-collection of the November issue of Burda as an example.
1.Black with vivid colors
As already mentioned, black is combined with absolutely any color. So, even the brightest thing can be “reassured” by its neighborhood.

A leather jacket with a peplum and a deep neckline begs for an evening ensemble. The color vertical created by the top, trousers and boats of the same shade will make the owner of the kit more elegant and slimmer. And the rainbow clutch, the trend of the future spring-summer season, will become the accent and highlight of the image.
2.Black with muted colors
To many girls, sets in muffled tones seem faded and inexpressive.Add contrast in the form of black! And now the image is not so candy-vanilla, but with a touch of audacity!

3.Black with prints
Since black is achromatic and neutral, it will withstand not only the company of absolutely any prints, be it geometric, animalistic or floral, but also their wildest combinations. And to make the kit look harmonious, choose prints in a similar color scheme.

The result was a very trendy, but at the same time quite calm and wearable ensemble. For the third season in a row, a skirt tailored along an oblique, in combination with a pullover with a predatory print that does not give up its positions, creates a very feminine duo, supported by an increasingly popular cropped jacket and white lace-up ankle boots. An unusual handbag completes the set, introducing an avant-garde note in the image of a good girl.

A simple set in color and a complex set in texture, in which the unity and struggle of opposites so clearly manifested. The velvet of the jacket echoes the suede texture of a corsage worn over a lace shirt, and the pleat of wide trousers antagonizes the smoothness of the leather of the accessories, but the geometry of the lines is in harmony with the lacing of the ankle boots.
