Ulyana Sergeenko’s shows are invariably surprising - a talented Russian designer always unmatchedly combines noble silhouettes and bold decisions, finding an impeccable balance between high fashion and what any woman would like to try on.
Among the 25 brands that performed at the Paris Fashion Week shows, he presented his collection and the Russian fashion house, Ulyana Sergeenko Couture. For the first time, Sergeyenko took part in this grand event back in 2012, and since then, it seems, has never disappointed fans or a wide audience. As far as one can judge from the unanimous positive reviews from foreign critics, the current show was no exception.
Tight corsets, low-pitched leather caps, either accessories or works of art - Sergeyenko, critics say, was clearly inspired by the rebellious images of the 80s. Clutches in the form of cats, not so much functional as much simply enthralling, knowledgeable people even predict in the hit of the season.
However, it was not without opposing opinions - on Russian social networks, a number of admirers of Sergeyenko's images expressed doubt about the appropriateness of such a radical mixture of Vologda lace and trendy chokers accompanied by tarpaulin boots.But, as you know, truly remarkable works never cause an unambiguous reaction, and the diametrical opposite of reviews only confirms Sergeyenko’s fidelity to the high fashion rule - do not stop surprising!
