A variety of jackets, coats, overalls and semi-overalls today offer parents manufacturers of children's clothing. When creating models, special attention is paid to quality and wear resistance.
An important role is played by the choice of color. Manufacturers do not skimp on a bright range. Yes, and the children are only in joy. When buying outerwear for children, pay attention to insulation It was light, but at the same time it warmed well, kept warm and did not create an excessive volume of the product, which is important, since the children are very active and nothing should hamper their movements during a walk.
The fabric from which the outerwear for children is sewn must be resistant to various contaminants, damage (not tearing from a light fall) and be easy to clean. Typically, care rules are indicated on the product label. It's okay if suddenly this marking is missing or you accidentally cut it along with other labels. Knowing the composition of the fabric and the name of the insulation, you will not have difficulty with home care.
Outerwear for children does not require pre-soaking. If on any part of the product has dried up mud, carefully remove it with a paper towel or brush.Children's jacket and jumpsuit should not be cramped in the drum washing machine. Add less powder than usual to avoid heavy foam. It is best to use special powders - for children, such as Tide Kids. Temperature condition - not less than 40 ° C. Spin at high speeds.
Hang the washed items on a hanger and let the water drain. Even with a good spin, a small part of the water still lingers in the product. Outerwear can only be ironed on the wrong side and not with a hot iron.
Expert Opinion
The moderator of our site, an engineer-technologist of sewing production, a sewing teacher, Svetlana Khatskevich, gives our readers a few more valuable recommendations on caring for children's outerwear:
Children's trousers, coats, jackets and overalls, as a rule, are sewn from fabric with impregnation. Such fabrics do not allow dirt to enter the fiber, so they are well washed. But nevertheless, in the case of severe pollution, I soap the particularly dirty areas, as well as the bends of the sleeves, the knees and elbows (usually the dirtiest ones) with ordinary household soap. It certainly will not harm the child, because it is made from natural ingredients.
Instead of soap, you can rub the places with the same baby powder in which you will wash clothes (I wash Children's tidewhich has recently changed the composition and packaging. I tried it - very happy with the result).
Voluminous things usually do not soak due to the fact that then it will be difficult to squeeze them out manually.
I leave to lie down the soaped thing for 20-30 minutes, and then wash it in the typewriter as usual.
After spinning the thing, I shake it well, smooth the jammed places with my hands and land on the hanger. The fact is that it is not recommended to iron things with volumetric heaters, because from the iron the insulation is compressed and sintered, losing its volume. And this leads to a decrease in the heat-protective properties of the thing.
