These paper flowers seem to grow straight from the book. At first glance, it is very difficult to make such an “installation”, but in fact it is not.
Here's how to make this original volumetric postcard:YOU WILL NEED Book; pages of thick paper from another book (or magazine) - the more there are colorful drawings on them, the more beautiful your flower garden will turn out. Thin but thick cardboard, fountain pen without ink, tracing paper; paper knife, litter for cutting, stationery glue.
STEP 1 Draw a flower on cardboard, cut and use as a template
STEP 2 According to this template, cut flowers from individual pages of books or magazines. On each flower, make 2 cuts, they will become stems. Finally, carefully scratch the central veins on the petals from the center to the tip.
STEP 3 Under one of the pages of the book, from which the flowers will "grow", put a bedding for cutting. According to the pattern, cut the flowers with a knife-cutter in the upper left corner, but not completely, but only partially.
STEP 4 Several cut flowers will stand on their own paper stalks. The stalk will be a strip of cardboard, bent in the shape of a triangle. Glue the ends of the triangle.
STEP 5 Glue a flower on the upper corner of this stalk. Similarly, make a certain number of flowers with such stems. In the first color photo, our flower garden forms a smooth transition from white and low to color and high colors. You can follow our example or come up with your own flower garden design.
