These elegant light-winged creatures flutter from shawls to skirts, from skirts to overalls ... Try to catch them!

Freshness of the morning

On a snow-white skirt (C&A), delicate butterflies feel especially comfortable.

Madame Butterfly

Dark blue jumpsuit with applique - exotic plus elegant.

Tired of fluttering

Butterflies, "sat down" on a scarf, literally catch the eye.

How to make organza butterflyYou will need

Organza, paper stencil (see photo above), aquamarker (Prym), yarn, scissors, a bowl of water.

Step 1

Place the stencil under the organza flap and translate the contours of the butterfly onto the fabric with an aquamarker.

Step 2

Align the butterfly's outline and thick inner lines with a narrow, dense zigzag stitch (2.5 x 0.5 mm), along a thin line with a straight line.

Step 3

Cut out the butterfly with allowances along a contour 3 mm wide. Dip the butterfly in a bowl of water so that the traces of the aquamarker disappear.
